SEO titles, meta and GEO content
The Workbench SEO tab covers two things: classic SEO for Google, and GEO (Generative Engine Optimization) for AI answer engines.
SEO title & meta description
The AI produces titles and metas that respect Google's display limits:
- SEO title: up to 60 characters — includes the product and its key attribute.
- Meta description: up to 160 characters — one sentence that earns the click.
The character counter on each field always shows where you stand against the limit. You can hand-edit the result before approving.
Titles over the limit get truncated with "…" in Google results — that's why the AI always stays within bounds. If you add text manually, watch the counter.
GEO: content for AI engines
More and more shoppers ask ChatGPT or Google AI instead of searching classically. GEO content gives those engines structured material to "answer" with your product:
- FAQ — question/answer pairs, phrased the way a real buyer would ask.
- Pros / Cons — an honest assessment that builds credibility.
- Use cases — who and what the product is ideal for.
Each section is editable independently — delete a question, add your own, or fix an answer before approving.
GEO costs 2 credits per product and is available from the Starter plan. The widget and APIs serve GEO content alongside the enhanced description.
A practical workflow
- Write the description first — SEO builds on its content.
- Run SEO title + meta together (one action, 3 credits).
- Add GEO to products with buying intent — not everything needs it.
